“ EVERY PROJECT IS IMAGINED THROUGH AN EXTENSIVE HISTORICAL AND ICONOGRAPHICAL RESEARCH, CREATING BESPOKE NARRATIONS INSPIRED BY LOCAL STORIES.”

— Florence Lipszyc, Founder and Artistic Director of Atelier 27

THE FOUNDER

Florence Lipszyc founded Atelier 27 in 2013 with her triple experience of the art market acquired both with the modern and contemporary art dealer Marc Blondeau in Geneva, and with the Modern Art department of Christie’s auction house in Paris, where she participated in the historic sale of the collection of Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé in 2008, as well as with the visual artist Adel Abdessemed, whose production studio she directed in Paris.

Great-granddaughter of Art Deco furniture dealer Pierre Guichard-Pellé, Florence grew up in Tunisia in a colorful family.

Her passion for art and designers, for decoration and architectural detail, but also her obsession with auctions of decorative objects and design, are the foundations of her open-minded artistic culture and curiosity about all creative minds and artistic discoveries.
